Camp 28 Saloon, Bunkhouse, and Cook Shanty have a colorful history dating back to 1881 when loggers inhabited the area. The camp was in operation for more than 50 years being know as the longest running saw mill operation in Wisconsin. Camp 28 is now a year round resort offering visitors the finest hospitality in the Rib Lake, Wisconsin area.
We open for lunch Tuesday thru Friday at 11 a.m. and for breakfast at 7 a.m. Sautrday and Sunday. We welcome you to come and enjoy a relaxing and comfortable stay in the bunkhouse, sample local beers, shoot a game of pool, and dine in our fine restaurant.
The banquet facilities are top notch and can accommodate up to 200 people.
We are located on a main highway, snowmobile and ATV trail, with many bikers, hunters, fisherman, hikers, and yes even an occasional logger visit Camp 28. Our staff is dedicated to making your stay enjoyable and memorable.
